A big thank you to everyone who supported our Children in Need Indoor Market.
Our Year 6 pupils once again rose to the challenge when they came up with a range of ingenious fundraising ideas for the Children in Need Indoor Market.
As before, the children were encouraged to come up with their own ideas for a fundraising stall. These included games of chance, treasure hunts, cake sales, lucky dips and lots more besides.
As usual the hall was extremely busy but everyone put up with the crush in a good-humoured way knowing that the event was for a very good cause. All the money has now been counted up and the total raised is a whopping £1,452.12 beating last year’s total by over £300!
May I congratulate the Year 6 children on their enterprise and the whole of the school community for the generous support of their efforts.
