Most children in our school possess or have regular access to a range digital technologies at home. It is essential that you guide and monitor your child/children’s online behaviour in order to protect their own safety and well-being as well as to prevent them from behaving in a way that is hurtful or threatening towards others.
The website www.internetmatters.org has produced an informative back to school guide for parents and carers that not only gives you some background information and advice, but also practical user-guides in order to secure the digital technology in your home. Their website has several other relevant topics and is well worth a visit. Below are links to the back to school guidance and two parental videos. We hope you find them useful. We will also provide further updates and guidance on the e-safety page of our school website.
